Kapalua Bay Maui is known for it’s picturesque setting. With miles of rolling hills peppered with pine trees and golf courses hugging the coast. It is no wonder it’s a popular place to exchange your vows. It is also the windiest part of the island. Several days leading up to Tanya and Lundy’s wedding, it rained and rained with high wind. But on the morning of their wedding, the sky opened up and the sun shone brightly on the gorgeous lawn at the Ritz Carlton Kapalua bay. We provided our signature wedding canopy with thick lush petal path in Ivories and Whites. The bride was greeted with rows of chiffon fabrics and white florals and hanging crystal prisms. The ceremony setting was surrounding with palm trees and a gorgeous ocean backdrop. This is why you have a wedding in Maui right? Tanya’s Pnai Tornai ruffle dress was insanely gorgeous! She carried a collection of large locally grown Gardenia bouquet. We custom wrapped the stems with the ruffle fabric to perfectly compliment her gown. While the purple plum and magenta bouquets were the colors chosen to complete the beautiful platinum chiffon dresses of her bridesmaids. An abundance of crystals and brooches were used for this wedding as they are perfect reflection of bride’s style. The reception celebration continued to the Plantation ballroom where we used Amethyst and purple lighting and table linens. Our signature white floral pieces graced each table that surrounded the sweetheart table of the bride and groom. They included imported roses, large white hydrangeas, white peonies and orchids. Lovely floral combination! Thank you Tanya and Lundy for allowing us to be a part of your special day! We love designing weddings in Maui and this wedding was pure pleasure! A big thank you to Scott Drexler for the beautiful images!
