It doesn’t get very cold here in San Diego and this is as close as we’re going to get to a white winter wedding.  Nevertheless, it was white and wintery in the Capella Chapel at the Grand Del Mar.  Steve and John wanted a winter wonderland in the Capella chapel,  which is lined with dark wood ceiling and marble flooring.  We brought in white birch and curly willow branches adorned with hanging orchids, crystal strands and prisms.  Two large white peacock completely constructed out of fresh flowers greeted the guests at the entrance.  The tail of these two peacocks consist more than 400 phalaenopsis orchids and dendrobium orchids along with fluffy white hydrangeas and large roses.  The main aisle dazzled with pearl filled vessels and floating candles.  Paraffin candles embellished with crystal snowflake brooches lined the two sides of the aisle  weaved with loose white rose petals.  The main altar was adorned with two large white floral arrangements atop fur covered columns with lush white floral garland across the credenza.  Please stay tune for the stunning photos from the talented Jennifer Dery of the reception.
