Another one of our favorite wedding of the year also made the cut in Ceremony Magazine 2011. At first glance one may think this wedding was taken place in Hawaii. The majestic ocean view backdrop can’t get any better. Destination wedding in San Diego anyone?
The ceremony was on the lawn at Seagrove Park Del Mar perched high above the pacific ocean. Spendid! You can read more about the wedding of Keely and Louis in our previous post HERE. We designed two massive manzanita trees drenched with large magnificent phalaenopsis orchids with thick luscious petal path leading the wedding couple to the Altar. The desired color palette for this beach style wedding was a soft muted tone. Each bouquet was adorned with a sweet crystal starfish to perfectly carry out the seaside theme. L’auberge Del Mar was a perfect venue to host this elegant wedding. The staff and their services were nothing but stellar. Alison Sansom, wedding coordinator for the Hotel was a joy to work with as usual and certainly did not miss a beat.
The guests continue to enjoy the glorious views as they were ushered into the pacific terrace where the dining and dancing continued. I am a huge fan of a large ‘feast style’ head table. It is the focal point of the wedding! We love the bling embellishments to the candle holders. It certainly added the sparkles to this tablescape. The head table took center stage with its over the top floral arrangements bursting with white orchids, hydrangea and roses. Special thanks to the talented Jennifer Dailard over at Simply Posh design for working closely with us to incorporate all the gorgeous crystal brooches to the menus and invitations. Congratulations again Keely and Louis! It’s great to revisit your wedding again in print!
