Crystals, crystals! This wedding was all about it. Sarah and Jason wanted their wedding to be centered around a chandelier motif. She held an ivory and white bouquet lots of jewels and bling as she walked down the sparkling hand painted runner by Wendy Ware. The outrageously talented Wendy also custom designed the chandelier theme menus and name tags. I’m absolutely enamored with the Crystal Ballroom at the US Grant Hotel in downtown San Diego. This baroque style room is decked out with gold painted reliefs, gorgeous crown molding, a classic checkered floor, touches of antique blue, and spectacular chandeliers. Did I mention the gorgeous fireplace? Beautiful and ornate, created a perfect backdrop for the bride and groom’s sweetheart table. We adorned the mantle with an abundant of mercury votive candles and opened rose blossoms. Each of the tables had an enormous ivory and white centerpieces, overflowing with imported roses, white hydrangeas, crystals strands, orchid leis, and phaeleanopsis orchids. These tabletop surrounded the beautiful bride and groom as they preformed their first dance underneath the stunning chandeliers. This luminous soiree was beautifully planned by Emily Smiley and Tim Otto did a fantastic job photographing this glittering affair. Special thanks to Catering manager Ed Kutch at the US Grant for a seamless event and making it a breeze for us to be a part of this amazing wedding! Congratulations to the beautiful couple, Sarah and Jason!
