I love this wedding! It was the ultimate eye candy: beautiful couple, gorgeous venue, and an insane amount of flowers. Susanne and Matthew always wanted to have a tent wedding, and chose to get married at the Santaluz Country Club. It’s intimate, inviting, and picturesque. Susie held a delightful mix of white roses, cattalaya orchids, gardenias, and narciscuss. The bridesmaids carried colorful bouquets of roses, lady slippers, and cymbidium orchids, which was stunning against their mocha dresses. A dense petal path led up to two massive altar pieces, overflowing with an unbelievable amount of roses and orchids. Guest were welcomed with a warming fire, pashminas, and cocktails in the courtyard. And it didn’t stop there. Inside the tent were centerpieces bursting with brightly colored orchids, roses, calla lilies, and crystals. Cappuccino linens, napkins, and seat covers were a perfect background color for these stunning arrangements. The gold infused tablescape includes gold stemware, ornate table frames, charger plates and gold trimmed candle holders. The romantic glow of the hanging chandeliers inside the fully lined tent set an elegant tone. There were also sleek white lounge furniture at each corner of the tent.
Darin Fong did a wonderful job capturing all the goodies from this fabulous wedding. San Diego wedding planner, Catherine Bachelier Smith of CBS Weddings did an amazing job running this event and certainly was a joy to work with. Congratulations Susanne and Matthew! It was a pleasure to work with the both to you from the beginning to the end.
